We collect your email address, name, and encrypted vault data. Vault assets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage — we cannot read your credentials, passwords, or private keys.
Your data is used solely to provide the Succede service: storing your encrypted vault, managing your dead man's switch, and sending alert emails when configured. We do not sell your data.
We send transactional emails (account setup, dead man's switch alerts, password resets). You can configure or disable switch alerts from your dashboard.
Your vault data is retained for the life of your account. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. Encrypted assets over the free tier limit are hidden — not deleted — when you downgrade.
All vault assets are encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM. Sessions are secured with httpOnly cookies. Connections use TLS in transit.
