What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your encrypted assets remain in your vault. You'll be downgraded to the free tier (5 assets). Existing assets over the limit are hidden, not deleted — re-upgrade to access them again.
How does the free tier work?
You can store up to 5 encrypted assets and assign up to 3 trusted contacts. The dead man's switch works at the free tier — it's enough to see if Succede is right for you.
Is my data actually encrypted?
Yes. Every asset is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a per-user derived key before it ever hits the database. Even if the database were compromised, the data is unreadable without your key.
